Wednesday's Featured Writer of the Day

Today’s featured artist is one of our very own...the lovely and very talented Mesmered, also known as Prue.

She has written a story called “Gisborne” (Formerly known as “The Sheriff’s Collector”), and while Guy is a major player, the tale is told through the eyes of a young maid. When I first started reading this, I expected a typical Cinderella/Beauty and the Beast kind of story. But it turned out to be so much more than that.

I won’t give away details, because to do so would spoil the experience of being completely sucked in, which is what happened to me. There were plot twists that kept me turning the pages in anticipation, and I was disappointed to come to the last installment...because now I have to wait until the next one is written! :)

This is not only an engaging story, but a marvelously written one as well. The words flowed off the page in an elegant and beautiful style. I will be eagerly awaiting the next chapter. :) If you haven’t visited Mesmered’s blog, I advise you to do so. You won’t be disappointed.

Happy Reading!

  3. Thanks, ladies. But I can't compare with Prue. My work pales in comparison with hers. She's quite an artist.

  5. Reading "Gisborne" has been a delight! I'm always eagerly waiting for the next instalment.
I can honestly say that you, Charlotte and Prue are my favourite Gisborne writers.

  6. Thank you so much to all those I affectionately call Gizzie's Girls. And especially to Sarah (AKA Charlotte) for featuring Gisborne. I mentioned on the blog that it's a joy to write the story when there should really be the pain of the writer. But I think that'll come when its time to seek publication.

Sarah's The Tempest has been my favourite Gisborne telling, discovered on Wattpad, and it was a good idea that you thought beyond the square, Sarah, and e-booked it. It's not fan-fict. It's a historical romance, a historical fiction! Sounds so much more credentialled!
