A Bounty of Garden Beauty, Courtesy of Walt Disney World

As most of my readers and friends know by now, I am working for the House of Mouse, A.K.A, the Walt Disney Company. As a cast member at Walt Disney World, I feel blessed to have free access to some of their special events, and being a lover of gardens, I'm super-excited to have the chance to see their annual flower and garden fesitval. It runs from March 7th through May 20th, and I can't wait to explore all of their beautiful pathways and displays. The work on display is absolutely stunning, as evidenced from the picture below. This is a stock picture, but I will be taking my own collection of photos when I visit the gardens next week, and I promise to share them with everyone.

Here is the link for anyone who is interested in more information. If you're ever planning a trip to Walt Disney World, right now is a great time for a visit. Maybe I'll see you there!

  1. Flower festivals are amazing. I love flowers as you do.

    We have beautiful manors' botanic gardens in our preferred lake resorts and I like to visit them for special blossomings (water lilies, wisterias, roses). Of course, Disney makes everything more amazing and larger.

    I see you are enjoying yourself so much working in this fairy world!! This is a beautiful experience!

    1. There is such wonder at Walt Disney World, beyond the Disney characters and the rides. The architecture and the gardening are spectacular. That's what I enjoy most of all. :)

  2. Hi Sarah,
    Congratulations on your new gig with Walt Disney World. That's awesome! I look forward to your pictures and impressions of such a magical and amazing place as Walt Disney World. I have yet to be able to go there. But sister has been there over 6 times!!! I joke that she'll have to be my tour guide when I do go.
    Cheers! Grati ;->
    P.S. I'm also looking forward to your next installment of "The Baron's Lady" once you get settled.
    P.S. I love your musical selections. They are old favorites that I have enjoyed playing over the years myself--though not this well. Ha!
