Prayers are needed...

Our family is going through a difficult time right now, as we have just learned that my Aunt Edith has been diagnosed with lung cancer. We are not sure yet what stage the cancer is in, but we know that she will be undergoing chemotherapy instead of an operation, as she is not in good health to begin with. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

  1. Dear Sarah,

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with your Aunt Edith, you, and your family at this challenging time. I hope that medicine has advanced in 31 years and she is able to bounce back and have a measurable quality of life.

We, none of us, know when our time will come. So, it behooves us all to view each day as precious--living it as if it were our last, with no regrets.

And if you are a special family or friend serving as a caregiver--either in person or from afar--know that your caregiving is a cherished gift to the person who needs it most.

    Much Love and Hugs, Grati

  2. My dear sweet friend no wonder you have been feeling blue. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Aunt Edith and family through this difficult time.
I understand what you are going through, I have already lost my parents, but you need to find strengh to give support and love to your family even from afar, believe me as a caregiver you find strengh from family members even though they can not possibly be there with you.
I send you all my love HUGS

  3. Thank you, my friends. I appreciate the support. A few weeks ago, the doctors found a spot on her lung, but she was ill at the time and couldn't have the biopsy. We were hoping it was just scar tissue from an old TB infection, but as it turns out, it's not. We're hoping the chemo takes care of it. Only time will tell.
